Loan Assigned to CEBA Program — CEBA Portal Account
How do I register for a CEBA Portal account?
You are only required to register for a CEBA Portal Account if your loan has been assigned to the CEBA Program. If your loan has been assigned, you can register by visiting account-compte.ceba-cuec.ca. To register for a CEBA Portal Account, you will need your unique 12-digit CEBA Identification Number included in your Loan Assignment Notice and the most recent business phone number your financial institution had on file prior to your loan being assigned to the CEBA Program. Detailed instructions on how to register can be found on the CEBA-CUEC Program Overview page.
If your loan is not assigned to the CEBA Program, please continue managing your loan through your financial institution.
For any further questions relating to the CEBA Portal Account, please contact the CEBA Call Centre at 1-888-324-4201.
What information can I view in the CEBA Portal once my loan has been transferred from my financial institution?
The CEBA Portal provides a view of your loan details (including outstanding balance), your payment arrangement, if one has been set with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), payment history, charge history, monthly statements, and contact information. Payment history and charge history only cover the period starting at the point of assignment to the CEBA Program.
Payment arrangements are set with the CRA and allow Loan Holders to fully pay back their loans over time at a frequency and amount that is based to their ability to repay. You can reach the CRA CEBA Contact Centre at 1-800-361-2808. For all other enquiries relating to loan assignment, you may call the CEBA Call Centre at 1-888-324-4201.
Can Third Parties access my CEBA Portal Account to manage my loan on my behalf?
In accordance with the Terms & Conditions outlined within the CEBA Portal End User Account Agreement, you are not permitted to share your CEBA Portal Account credentials with other parties. However, Third Parties that have been authorized with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) can continue to manage and access information regarding your loan through the CEBA Call Centre at 1-888-324-4201. Please note, to authorize new or manage existing Third Parties, you will be required to contact the CRA CEBA Contact Centre. You can reach the CRA CEBA Contact Centre at 1-800-361-2808.
I have set a payment arrangement with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), why can’t I see it in the CEBA Portal?
Once you have set a payment arrangement with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), it could take up to five business days to be reflected in the CEBA Portal under the “Loan Details” tab. If the payment arrangement was set more than five business days ago and has not been displayed in the CEBA Portal, please contact the CEBA Call Centre at 1-888-324-4201. If you missed a payment and have a question about your previous payment arrangement, please reach out to the CRA CEBA Contact Centre. You can reach the CRA CEBA Contact Centre at 1-800-361-2808.
Why do I need to register for a CEBA Portal Account after my CEBA Loan has been assigned?
